All 02 03 04 Owners Come In Here

Ive been debating lately on what to upgrade to next. Ive wanted to get a Stage 3 but because of the cost its gonna have to wait. The last 2 weeks ive been looking at getting a Lightning. So what im asking of you guys is if youve sold youre Roush in the last year or so or are currently selling, can you post how much you are asking or how much you actually sold your Roush for. This will only be used to determine what I should start my price out at. Theres always going to be a debate on how much they should be selling for so im curious how much they actually end up going for. If you dont feel comfortable posting it here then would you mind sending me a private message. I promise the info you give me is for my ears only and will only be used to figure out my asking price. Thanks!!! And dont worry ill be in a Roush again.

What mods and mileage do you have on the car? Regadless, a stage 1 03 isnt going to net you much unfortunately, unless there are tons of mods and you get lucky and find the right buyer. I would figure you are looking at the 15k area for your car if that.

Didn't you just buy the car. Go by the price you bought it for.

what makes you think the lightning won't be a potential moneypit?

I think it's a legit question. Do you want an L that is modded or not modded? You might find that the aftermarket for the lightning is a bit more expensive than for your stage 1. And it might be hard to find a Lightning that has NOT been modified. Personally, I would keep my stage 1, just my .02 cents.Good luck either way.

Im looking for stock and of course ill do the normal mods, exhaust, cai, chip, and ill be easily at 425/500 ft lbs. Im really just in need of a truck but dont want something huge. Whats better than a Lightning? And for the price ive been seeing, its not too much higher than what I want to get for mine. We'll see though.

Go get a mustang and for trader and look at all the roush mustangs that are selling in that and youll see that they are pretty over priced. maybe you can also put your car in the for a high price as well.
Just my opinion.

Get a cobra with a pulley and you will be happy.
As for your car, try to sell it for what you bought it for. How much did you spend. Is it a V8 S1?

ya its a v8 S1, almost all s2 options and s3 body kit. i know its still an s1 and i wont get my money back for the s2 options and s3 bodykit but im not the one that spent the money on doing that.

I would get a stage 3 before anything else but I cant find one for the price range im in, same with the Cobra. I started doing some research on Lightnings and realized that they are in my price range.

Problem is theres barely any real Roush stangs for sale in AZ. thats why im gonna be asking a little bit more for mine. Im actually talking with a guy in New Mexico right now who wants 21,900 for his 02 True Blue L, stock and wants to trade straight up. Why not!
