Q. on boost
Im hopeing to get a supercharger soon and was wondering how much boost to run. I have a stock 01 stg 2 now, and was thinking about running 8 lbs of boost with 42 lb injectors and a 255 lb fuel pump. In your guess opinion is that safe on stock internals or should I just run 6lbs of boost? choice of supercharger is an intercooled procharger. Thanks

I also have an '01 S2. You'll need a returnless style fuel pump to avoid complications such as a Cobra, Focus, or Aviator pump...or...a Kenne Bell boost-a-pump if you keep the mods fairly decent. The pump the P-1SC comes with is useless unless you have a 96-98 GT. I assume you've looked at the kit I have, P-1SC. 8 lbs is fine...as long as the tune is "top shelf." I'm at 6 lbs and I'm keeping it that way only to keep my rwhp below 450. Another 2 lbs and I'm looking at 465-480 rwhp (why break a good stock block?). Im runing 9 on my car but I do happen to have a KB which is not what your looking into, but so far I haven't had any problems...
