Introducing myself

Just trying to introduce myself a little as I will be around more often trying to get ahold of some parts for my '04 V6 conversion to a stage 3 look-a-like. I dont know how you guys feel about that.. the whole V6 to Stage 3 thing but let me assure you it will in no way shape or form put a bad name to Roush as a Performance car.

My plans are to do an engine swap with a 4.2l V6 from an F150, forge the internals, and with the help of some fellow V6 enthusiasts I will be mounting either a M112 or Whipple W140AX to the top of it... in the end I expect to hit around 350+ Rwhp and close to 400 ft/tq.

This being a unique and expensive goal I know it will take a LONG TIME! but It will be well worth it in the end... would you not agree?

I dont have any new pictures of my car at the time... but some older ones are located Here
right now I am looking to get rid of those Hideous Tail lights so if anyone has any that they would gladly get rid of I would appriciate the pm.

On top of what is shown I have dual rear exhaust because I had not planned to doing a roush conversion... which means I haven't decided weither to go 360R or Stage 3 yet... and I have had my windows tinted 20%. And preformance wise I have installed 3.73 rear gears and tuned it with an X-cal2. nothing has been done to the engine because I have always wanted to go Forced Induction.

Hope to see everyone around. and PM me if you have any parts or info that I could you. thanks.

Welcome to the site. As long as you dont pass it off as a "real" Roush you wont have any problems.

Just like Roushinator said, if you don't try to pass it off as a real stage 3..you won't have any worries. Welcome to the site, and have fun with your project.

Well I have a question... if I get all the parts to make it look exactly like a stage 3 or 360R is there anyway possible to get it serial #ed or accepted by Roush as a complete and rear V6 roush...?

No. Roush will only serialize untitled vehicles that they build.

Hey mang, welcome, and it's your car, fix it how you like it. Who cares if others don't like it. It's yours to mod in any manner you want. Others may have opinions and thats o'k. Just remember they are opinions and not the gospel. Enjoy the site you'll learn a lot and meet some really great folks.
