Ford factory up shift light
I just noticed on my friends 03 cobra, that he has a factory up shift (arrow) light on the dash light bar. My 04 380r does not have this, or it does not light up. I was just wondering if the GT mustangs have this, and if so, does Roush disable it in the PCM?

I am pretty sure it was just a feature added into the 03-04 Cobra dashes... I don't believe the arrow is even in the other dashes?

i find those lights very annoying, and im glad my clusters doesnthave it, however on the other had i do have a raptor shift light but at least that can be set and only comes on if im getting on it. rather then trying to tell me when to shift for better gas mileage

I had mine turned off when I got the tune for the pulley. I agree it was very annoying!

Thats not on the Mach 1's either, must be a Cobra thing? Glad I don't have it though.

You can pull the dash cluster out and remove the bulb (cheapest way) or you can have it shut off with a tune (more expensive but you will gain power as well).

Ohh crap I thought it was a directional light always telling me to go straight.........imagine how long it took me to get home the first night.
Yea it is anouying. Wonder if you can change when it comes on ? Say at like 6k or something. I will ask Sam and get back to this.

I really got on it two/three times and first gear is now pretty much useless
It's the power band that is very impressive It goes almost straight across on the sheet he gave me with the runs in 4th gear.
