You should go and get some 285/35/18 for the rear. the 275/40 will look too tall for the front 35 sidewall. JMO

I have 18x9 265/35 up front, 18x10 315/30 in back, people tell me it sits nice. If you happend to have already found a deal I say go for want you want. The 40 in the back will look 'kind of' tall I agree.

money

i have got alot of bills to pay off and moneys kidna tight, my origonal plan was to go with 275/40's all the way around cuz i live in richmond (sitty roads)and it would make for a smother ride. My 2 back tires r almost bald... not that i was smokin them or anything ... so my dad offered to spring for 2 of my tires...and sinces my 265/35's in front r perfect i was wondering if i could run 275,40's on the back with the 265'35s on the front till i got the cash to drop new tires on the front to match... im lookin for less performance and more toward convenences, every day driving ablity and smother ride, and i belive the 40's will make it a smotehr ride + give me a little more clearense cuz i tend to scrap alot! someone tell me if im misstaken ... or could i got with 275/40s all the way around or what .. some guidences PLS!... (FYI sorry about my crappy spellin)

IF YOUR LOOKING TO GO HIGHER ON THE REAR TO CLEAR FIRST INVESTIGATE THE DIFRENCE BETWEEN THE 35 AND 40 SIDEWALL SIZE TIRES. FALKEN, NITTO AND OTHERS HAVE CHARTS AND TELL THE DIMENSIONS IN WIDTH AND HEIGH AND OTHER SPECS FROM DIFFRENT TIRE SIZES. gOOD LUCK
