trading in my roush for a 06 g35 coupe

after only owning it for 3 months ive decided that its just not worth the hassel.... its a fun car but its not a smooth ride, gas milage is horrible and it dosnt have the plush acomidations that i would have liked in a car of its stature... gotta find it a good home.... i went to the infintiy dealership today and found a great deal on a brand new 06 g35 sports coupe with the sport suspention package and a sunroof + 19 inch chrome rims... only 18 miles on the car from test dives.... 280 hp and 270 tq.... guys thoughts opnions... my only concern is that i wont get the attention in the g35 that that roush gives me and that realy kinda makes me sad cuz once u go there u never wanta go back...

You have seemed unhappy with your ride since you picked it up. You got to do whatever makes you happy.

I do like the style of the G35's. I have even been to the dealership to look at them.

I think there are 6 in my neighborhood but only 1 Roush.

happy`

i would be happy if my suspention was fixed... it rattles and shakes realy bad... and i know theres no way thats how its suppose to be. i looked under my car yesterday cuz i found that my suspention was missing a bolt and was making the worst sounds ever... so i put a bolt in it... kinda stoped the problem.... my front brakes r going out so i need new ones. the rotors will have to be replaced as well... the clutch is going out. the tires r litteraly bald.. no tread left on them at all its smoth all the way around. when i was under my car saw that teh pipe right after the muffleer that connected to the exaust tip has got a hug dent in it like the size of a fist, not cracked or open though jsut dented in... car constantly scrappes.... gas milage is bad but thats to be expected. if i could get teh exaust fixed, keep the suspention from making that awful skweeking noises. new brakes, new tires, and a new front left speaker cuz that ones blown.. oh ya and if i could get my horn, foglights, and cruses controll to work... i wouldnt even be consitering this......

The G coupe is an amazing vehicle. IMO, the best in its class... for all catagories.

Huge difference, no comparison between the it and the mustang. From an Infiniti man, they are hands down awesome! (cred goes to the m5 for being a running mate!) If I could only have one... mustang - G... I would have to choose the...

Oh, as you've probably noticed, If you've got broad shoulders, you won't want to do any long roadtrips in it...

God bless Japan!

P.S. Although it never seems like it, I really do love my toy car (stang)!

Do what makes you happy......... I test drove the G and the Z and they were nice, but not for me. I actually prefer the BMW 330 ci over those...

Sounds like you were in the wrong car to begin with....you want "plush" in a Mustang?? You want a cruiser, not a bruiser so it seems. I would never give up Mustang power and heritage to any Jap car...but to each his own.

Personnally I prefer to show a little more metal if you know what I mean. I certainly don't intend to slam anybody. It's just a matter of taste and personality!

What a coincidence, me and wifey were driving the 1998 SVT Contour around Baltimore today and stopped in at a used lot to check out a phat used G35, it already had some phat rims on it. We're going to check it out more when they are open, BUT, we're not getting rid of the Roush!

I have to agree though, the platform for the 1979-2004 mustangs was more of a "take me as I am" car rather than a plush ride. Even driving mine from Baltimore to Atlantic City (3 hours) in the Roush leather seats bothers my back.

Try the Mach 1 seats... I drove it 400 miles and was fresh as a daisy..I love those seats! Great lumbar support and no way are you gonna slide sideways.

I bought an 06 G35 6MT coupe recently, but I still have my Roush! Totally different cars, both cool in different ways. I will post a pick of these two black beauties together soon.
