Need help on which clutch to buy

As some may know i recently installed a Saleen supercharger into my car and today i went to the track. All in all it was a fun event intill my 3rd pull when my clutch couldn't hold anymore. The car sat about 30-40 mins between each pull. The first run was a 13.2 The second was a 13.8 and the third was a 16.9 at 65mph On my third run I got to 5000rpm and all of a sudden i wasn't moving anymore and i couldn't shift into any gear and my clutch pedal was stuck to the floor. i actually didnt even shift yet the clutch pulled its self into neutral somehow and my friend told me that a big pile of white smoke came out the back of my car. i couldnt keep tracking to well my 60' was a 2.5 the first run and 2.6 the second and third was a 1.8 Somehow i made it 60ft before it crapped out, so bad to because that was going to be a good run. right now the car seems to drive find other than the clutch stinks really bad.

I'm assuming im puting way to much power onto my stock clutch (with 98k on it) so its time for an upgrade. Whats a good clutch to get? Should i also get an aluminum fly wheel while I'm at it? Also i have the t45 tranny right?

one last question. When i bought my car it already had 3.73 gears in the car and today at the track i spun the tires up some and my friend told me only the left one spins and created white smoke and the right one didnt move at all. What would cause this? is there a performance product that could cause this? or could a slipping clutch cause this?

I would go with a Spec Stage 3 Plus. It is the same thing i have in mine and it is holding my power. I would use the factory flywheel and have it resurfaced. If not go to autozone and buy a factory replacement. A steel flywheel is better for the track and the street. It just engages easier. For the rear end the clutch has nothing to do with it. More than likely you've got a problem inside the gearing if your only spining one wheel or it wasn't a positive or limited slip differential.

Spec or Fidanza would be my choice.

Where is the cheapest place to pick up a spec clutch at? whats the difference in stages?

Is there anyway to check to see if i have a positive or limited slip differential? Are those aftermarket? i'm assuming they don't come stock.

lmperformance.com has a good price on the Spec clutch. You can read up on there stages and see what your car needs. My car had a stock 355 positive traction gear in it. If they did a gear change it should have one. I would recommend taking it to a mechanic and letting them take a look at it.

Going through the same.. Spec seems to have a solid rep with many choices and price ranges.. Also, seems that the traction-loc in your ride is shot.. A simple rebuild of the clutch packs will solve the prob, or you could put in a Auburn, True-trac, or Detroit Locker....
