Thanks, but I would like the TVS to say " Roush " on it, so I was kinda hoping that Roush would do something like this for us owners..... I mean they have all these kits out there, so why not ?

Because Roush is already stopping production of our parts. They don't want to design anything else for these cars. They would rather see you go and buy a new.

The standard Tork Tech kit using just the M112 is putting down 500 rwhp at 12 pounds of boost with some ported heads and Stage II cams. I know they are waiting for the results to see what 14-16-18 pounds will net.
First thing that went on the test car was the clutch, followed by the transmission.
Here is a dyno sheet:

Those numbers are also on a dyno jet. I made 430 on a mustang dyno with the stock m90 at bout 12psi. Mine will make over 500 on a dyno jet. I have been in touch with this company on working on a tvs setup for my car with the same twin belt setup. I'm wanting to run about 20-22psi. They tell me they can make it happen so i'm just waiting on there setup.

Bill is the one that has been emailing me. I'm going to try and call them this week some time and see what they've came up with.

Hey ok2003gt... I am really wanting to get this kit when I get my taxes back. Mine has 103k miles with stock internals, can it handle the blower? If so what do you think the numbers will be, I have a full exhaust system too. Thanks...

Your better off spending that money towards a rebuilt bottem end. Your not going to be able to throw but about 8-10psi at your stock internals, and you have a bunch of miles on it. Just my .02 from blowing up 2 stock motors.

I would like 400 to the ground both ways. I think my bottom end would last on 8 lbs which is what I would like to run...

400 on a dyno jet or mustang dyno? You'll need more than 8psi on a mustang dyno.

Awsome, I will be awaiting the information on this.. Hopefully all us 2v owners can step up to this bad boy.. Have they stated if the TVS will say " ROUSH " on it ?

No it will not. I'm not sure if i'll do this kit. Your really looking at about the same money for a KB. You have to change hoods for both kits so i'm just weighing the options now.

It has a fully built motor, ported heads, stage 3 cams, ported blower, custom Metco pulley, 90mm MAF, and Full Exhaust. It is about all you can do with out changing blowers. Also has a big shot of nitrous if more power is needed.

SCwoodsy..I know the kit has been installed on a 99K mile, 85K mile engine and no issues. Modular Depot did one, JMS Chip has done several. They all come in around 385-390 to the wheels @ 7.5 pounds. All on otherwise stock engines, stock exhaust, etc.
This 2002 Roush is making 407 x 390 on an MD1750 Mustang Dyno. Tuning is key. Good AFR. Safe tune.
As far as needing another $500.00 Cervini or cowl hood, you can get a new extended length hood scoop. If you look at the pictures of the Roush, there is a "relief" cut in the hood, which is taking care of by the new scoop. It's about 4 inches longer and has the same grill insert.
As far as cost comparisons..the 8 rib belt independent drive system, the Big Air intake, the 1300 CFM throttle body, the bigger MAF, all that stuff is already included. You don't have to buy all the "optional" upgrades.
There is also a video link at the bottom of the page, which will lead you into you tube and a bunch more video's.

03Black..what kind of ET's are you running?

There is another alternative to buying a hood.. You can use a spacer ( within reason )between the frame and K-member to lower the motor... Also, any fab shop could probably modify the motor mounts to lower the engine.. Just have to watch pan clearance...

TorkTech FTW, we are getting ready to install one at the end of October with MM&FF magazine. Ive seen these things in action before and they really make some steam. Id take one over a KB any day of the week. They run cooler air charge temps and make around the same power. They also look alot cleaner then a KB kit.
