Question Suggestion For The Car

Ive Got A Few Minor Things Done To My Car. I Have A Smaller Pulley, Roush Cold Air Intake, And Exhaust. Im Looking To Do More To My Car Without Spending A Major Amount Of Money. Im Thinking About 3.73 Gears, A Even Smaller Pulley, Chip, And A Tune. But I Would Like Some Help Or Suggestions On What Else I Should Do To My Car.

- NGK TR6 spark plugs gapped at .035 (if you don't have them already)
- 90mm MAF housing (although I'm not sure your Roush CAI will fit it)
- custom dyno tune

the colder spark plugs plus the 90mm MAF housing along with a custom tune will net the most rwhp for the money.

you could pick up a used 90 MAF housing for under $100
8 spark plugs for $20 (change them yourself for free)
custom dyno tune = approx. $350
SCT xcalibrator II = approx. $375 (the SCT xcalibrator II is a hand-held tuner, your tuner need the SCT xcalibrator II for the custom tune)

the custom dyno tune could net up to 25rwhp
the custom dyno tune along with the colder plugs & 90 mm MAF could net up to 40rwhp.

yeah I am about to do the tune on my 02 stage 3. I need to get my speedo corrected for the 3.73 gears. Hoping for close to 400 RWHP. I have pulley, tunable CAI, Bassani x-pipe, and magnaflow exhaust.

Jason how do you determine the size of you CAI? I think mine is 90mm.

i reckon if you measure the MAF housing, the inside diameter will be 90mm

Unless you upgrade to the Lightning MAF more than likely you don't have it.

I really don't see you breaking the 400 mark 02stage3 with just an CAI, Pulley, Exhaust. Well i'm judging off of the dyno i go to. I made 420 on just motor and i have cams and ported heads on this dyno.

I am going to check the MAF and I had to order a new one and I think it was the lightning MAF. As 400 RWHP I know that is a stretch, but I put down 360 before the CAI and smaller pulley, so hopefully I will be close. Hoping for at least 380. I guy can dream!
