Wheel bearings?
Any of you guys have had any issues with wheel bearings front or rear going bad on your Roush's or Mustang GT's? mine is making a humming noise? i thought maybe it was tire noise? I thought maybe the rear end but it doesnt change pitch? How often should they be checked or replaced? My car has 41k on it and it does get its occasional weekend drag.

if its humming it probably is your wheel bearing. i had to get one replaced in my acura tl at like 120k, on my first mustang gt i had 40k with no need to replace. i am sure just a replace/repack will fix her up!

I have a Acura CL with 118k owned since new and i have never replaced a bearing, just the timing belt and water pump! Damn good car!
You talking about replacing the bearing on all 4 corners?

I was told by Ford they are sealed so you'd have to buy new ones and replace them. My car has about that mileage and they are A-OK!

I didnt think they where? My car sat around for along time? and before that got beat on at the drag strip alot so i dont know if any of those situations helped the cause
 Maybe ill take it to the dealer? iam probably going to get raped in labor
