    Magnaflow Muffler question

    Can someone tell me about these? Beyond the obvious, I mean. Anyone have them on their car? Loud? Compared to the regular magnaflows, how do they sound. I have the regular magnaflows from a stock roush and they are WAYYYY too quiet.

    Any info would be great! Thanks guys!

    Not sure what set up you have but......if you are refering to the enhanced sound magnaflows...then they are not much different! Spintech....Spintech if you have the extra cash! I just purchased 2 yesturday.......stainless steel...cant go wrong, and everyone here loves the way they sound! Direct bolt-in replacement with side exhaust! Stang3.

    added pictures....I can get a set of spintechs for about $50 more than this. I only need the mufflers....don't need the rest, so I might just go spintech.....just don't know if I want THAT loud.....

    I have the Maganaflow Maganpacks on my car and they are pretty loud. I have BBK LTs and off road X pipe also. I love the sound of my car, but everyone on here says spintech. I actually don't think I have heard a car with them on it though. I really liked my MAC cb on my old car.

    The mufflers you have pictured are the forgotten "shorty" mufflers...They are a bit louder considering their shorter length..and the "Enhanced" sound mufflers are longer and quieter. However! The Magnapaks are still the loudest I've heard and I've been next to another Roush w/Spintechs installed. I wouldn't waste the money on the shortys or enhanced sounds..if you want good sound buy the paks or the Spintechs... . just my .02

    I just got a quote for 235 for two of the spintechs shipped to my door, so I might just go that rout. I will know within the next week.

    i got the shortys on mine and i like it. im past the insane loud exhaust i like the growl and pitch of mine. just my .02 as well

    Do some searching online. I found 2 spin tech 333scs mufflers for $69.99 each + $14 for shipping. I think my total was $155ish out the door. eBay FTMFW.

    That is a great price!!! I just added an X recently and it really woke the car up. Still pretty quiet until I open it up, but then it screams!! YAY!

    Does anyone know how chambered mufflers sound with an X. I hear that they sound horrible, but other opinions would be great!

    IMO the bullet style mufflers sound much better with an x pipe. Buddy had an x and mac catback he didn't like it and switched to an H pipe sounds awesome now. I have the magnapacks which where pretty quite till I put the o/r x on now they scream.

    I have a catted X with Spintech's, I like it alot....may go with an H down the road just for something diff. but I always get asked what my setup is...
