    Seats

    Is there a way to put the newer 05-09 seats in the 1999-2004 mustangs....any help would be greatly appreciated!

    Anybody? I was thinking the same thing. I have a set from a 05.

    i was @ froniter ford when jack came there on 6/18 & there was this guy in a 00"v6 coupe procharged it was blue & he had white wheels

    he actully put those seats in his car that he bought off craigslist for $400bucks. it was a tight fit & the seats lookd wayyyy too big for the car lol deffinietly couldnt fit anyone in the back seat & he was a short guy but it was still clean tho

    i shoulda took pics..damn

    anyone here remember seening that car he was parked in back of the parking lot upagainst the wall

    not sure which seats these are but i rember this guy chris has a clean s3

    What about the Roush Focus seats ?? They would be some what smaller in size compared to the 05...

    Floor bolt pattern is the same from '79 all the way up to the '09 seats. They do "bolt in", but the power seat wiring harness need to be matched up if I remember correctly.

    I saw the car and talked to him about the seats. They were too big imo. He had said that he had to change something to do with the mounting of the seats and I believe he had to alter the foam as well. When the drivers door was closed it literally squished the seat in to close all the way, leaving a wrinkle in the leather. It looked ok, the harness had to be rewired as well. I spoke with a leather upholstrey guy and he said he could custom fit the newer seat covers but it would cost too much ...
