Who on here has 1/4 Mile times...

Just got back from the track tonight and was wondering who has the fastest 1/4 mile times?
With or with out S/C.
With a Roush S/C or other S/C.
Etc...

My best is a 12.82 @107 Mph
With the Roush tune and S/C.
On BFG Drag Radials

I have an 05 Roush Sport with long tubes, CAI and a tune. It ran 12.9 @105 on street tires. Frankly I was surprised that a SC'ed Roush that was there that night could not do any better than mid 13's. Is the Roush tune that mild?

Thanks alot.

You know of all the slips to loose I lost that one. (I blame my wife for tossing it) of course.
So here is my #'s for my run yesterday its on a 12.91 pass...

60' Time was 1.87
Its on a test and tune day so there is no track prep at all..(Slicker than snot)
P275/35's on a spare set of Roush Rims.

When I was on stock BFG's I thing my 60's were like 2.15's...

I heard a rumor that Mickey Thompson is going to be making a Street E/T tire for an 18 inch rim. Heard the release date will be this Fall sometime. That would be a great set up there.

WoW, thats crazy fast for a N/A car.
I dont think you could pull that in Michigan. Atleast not on a Test and Tune day... (No track Preping)
I see CAI w/Tune GT's running Mid 13's all day. They cant come close to breaking 12's...

Yes the Roush Tune is very Mild. Hence they have no warranty issues to pay out.
Im scrapping my tune this Winter. Should make a big difference. Look at RangersFan's numbers.
Some one else on here went yesterday and ran some fine #'s, but I wont rain on his parade...

Best time to date

13.27 @ 103mph - Auto trans stock BFG's at 24psi

C&L with Brenspeed tune / UD pullies / Catted X and lite driveline (helps offset the weight of the 13" & 14" brakes I hung on it)

Best time at Atlanta Dragway:

13.42 @ 105.47mph

I had a stock GT pull me off the line (he spun the whole way on Cooper tires), and he ran a 14.00 flat! I almost pooped on myself. He had all kinds of tire hop each run - but still ran good.

I just can't seem to get my S3 to go 12's. I read all over that the stock S3 is suppose to be DEEEEEEEEEP into the 12's, and that it's comparable to the stock Z51 Vette. I think it's all crap. Plus it's a lot to do with the driver, and I haven't found the magic launch with this puppy yet.

Any suggestions on the launch? No slicks - cause I'm broke enough already - so don't suggest that - cause I'm a stocker.

Anyways.....my numbers...that's why I was here. I've ran consistent 13.5's and 13.6's, just had the one 13.42...Gone as fast as 108, and as slow as 100...but the times are always in the mid 13's. Sucks that a stock GT is only 3-4 car lengths behind me. Thought the Roush would be faster than it is. Maybe a smaller pulley with about 18psi and a good tune that isn't as mild would wake up that M90?

That was on a crappy 1.90 60 ft. If I woulda hooked at all that woulda been a 12.90 or so. Since then I got longtubes and a 1 piece driveshaft. I'm looking for 12.7s or so next time I get down the 1320 if the track and air are good.

Keeping in mind that I have not very much quarter mile experience under my belt, my best time was 13.35 (75 HP N20 shot, CAI, underdrive pulleys, and stock radials). The husband's times in my car that day were 12.76 & 12.82.

My best, pretty sad
60' - 2.22

13.718 @ 102.37 mph

My highest MPH is 104.8mph with a slow 13.871.My best 60' was a 2.063.

I am not a good drag racer, and have only done 14 passes with the S3. I can't get any traction with the S3 BFG's either.

The driver mod accounts for a lot at the track. If you are on street tires, you can't launch too hard. I'm not too sure about the "upgraded" Roush tune, but the older one dumps boost like crazy till after 3000rpms. When I had my stock gears and Roush tune, I couldn't break 13.1 to save my life, the day after the custom tune was done: 12.69.

my best is a 13.5 at 105 but that is becuase i hit the rev limiter in 2nd gear, duh! 2.0 60' on nitto DRs. not sure what hitting the rev limiter cost me but i am pretty sure that it cost me a 12 second run. hit the thing so hard that the helmet hit the steering wheel, LOL! rest of the night could not get traction because it dipped into the 50s, very slick.

My best with BFG 18" drag radials is 12.51 at 111.93mph. 60 foot time was 1.846 with the mods in my signature. I think can get a little faster with maybe some more runs.

I gotta agree with you there. I couldnt hit 12's with my street tires and with my Roush 415HP Tune either. Only after I did the Roush pulley, Exhaust mod's and DR's did I start hitting the 12's.

IDK. I smell some BS in this posting on some of these times...But I guess thats just how it goes when people post there qtr times.

Nice run...

I guess you get the cookie so far as having the Fastest Roush/Roush Charger 05+.

I can verify this run since I was there to see it.
When I do my custom tune this Winter I be knocking at your door! NIce one dude!

What's you best 60 fts on those 18 inch BFGs? I haven't got better than a 1.84 yet. I honestly expected more out of them. I am consistantly 1.9 +/- 0.05. I know they are just DRs with no sidewall but I was still expecting 1.80's out of them. Maybe I just haven't learned to launch them or this car yet.

Actually I hope I kill these soon so I can try those 18 Mickey DRs. Mickey DRs rule. I've seen people pull 1.60's all day long on the 17 inch Mickey DR's.
