12s!!!!! Naturally Aspirated!!!

Well I decided to run the car a couple of weekends ago at the Tulsaracewaypark here in Tulsa Ok. There was a ton of people at the Test N Tune so I only got 2 runs due to so many racers....1st run those Dumba$$"s sprayed VHT on the start line right before I went which made it slick as hell (VHT needs about 15 min to settle and become sticky...not 2 seconds and right before I was running)..and they made us run out of the groove (running out of the groove sucks for traction FYI), So my 60ft was horrible...blew the tires loose and spun through 1st. I let off the gas then decided what the hell and floored it. ran a 13.3 @ a new best MPH (for that run) 106.1 MPH.

Waited in line for another 2 hours and finally got a chance to run again. I didnt want to do anything stupid and spin through first so I sqeezed her off the line and got into the GO pedal quick. Managed a 1.85 60ft AND GUESS WHAT LADIES and GENTS!!!??? JARROD IS IN THE 12SEC CLUB Naturally aspirated hehe... the car had more in her for sure, but I decided to not push my luck...oh and I didnt want to wait another 2 hours to run again!!! That JLT and the cool air were a great mix... my car runs a lot stronger than it did before with the recently added CAI. I am pleased with myself for reaching my goal of 12s N/A! Next is that UPR Swaybar delete which is going on this weekend, One piece driveshaft and longtube headers at a later date... I believe a 12.5 is there! I ran a 12.90 @ 106.89 MPH New best 1/4 and new best MPH... I love JLT and Bamatunes!! If I could have gotten my 60ft down I think a 12.7X would have been possible.... Man I cant wait till the next Drag outing!!! Heres the timeslip!! The reaction time stinks because I wasnt racing anyone in the other lane...so I didnt care for cutting a perfect light... I was just concentrating on my RPMS and slipping that dang clutch.

Congrats and welcome to the club! This should make believers out of more folks that think we are messin with their heads by saying we can run 12's without any power adders.

I ran a 12.9 last spring when the air wasn't all that great. I am thinking about trying again now that the air temps are dropping here in Florida. I may try to best my time again later this week.

If I can get my 60ft time down I think I can get low into the 12s. I was running a 110 trap speed which could be high 11s if could drive
