Mustangs On Top!
The 27th Annual Spring Show of the Greater Vancouver Mustang Association up here in Beautiful British Columbia took place yesterday atop an eight-level parking garage in Historic Gastown (Vancouver, BC).
It was the largest turn-out in the 27 years of the Spring Show (thanks mostly to the SUN - and the unusual venue!). Views of the City of Vancouver, Northshore Mountains, Canada Place (convention centre and cruise ship terminal) made for a wonderful show. Over 80 Mustangs galloped to the Rooftop and 122 people joined in for lunch across the street at the Old Spaghetti Factory. Awards were given out (1st Place / 2nd Place / 3rd Place / Mention) in a dozen classes. 1967 - 1968 Mustangs: 1st Place Award = our 1968 Mustang GT Fastback!!!!!! and even better..... 2005 - 2008 Mustangs: 1st Place Award = our 2008 ROUSH Blackjack convertible!!!!!!!! PS: That's me (Photo #3: black baseball cap, black/brown Tommy Bahama shirt) standing by my Red '68 Fastack.....yappin up a storm! LOL ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

Hello everyone!
The Spring Show was awesome...first because we had SUN! For example, it is raining again today! It's all in the timing - as my fellow fnsweet member (Travis) "TMB Roush" can attest to!! Say Travis - are you a member of the GVMA? If not, it's only $30. per year or thereabouts! And the people are great. Sorry that I didn't have more time to chat with you! I was busy keeping the folks from EasyPark (our host site) company and worrying about Security, etc. Overall, I think the show was quite successful. I'm fairly certain - from the amount of emails and phone calls received today - that we'll try to have the Spring Show once again atop the Gastown Parkade! After all...if it rains, we just move down a level and turn it into an indoor car show! It was great to meet you - hope to see you over this Spring and Summer at other shows! Here's two last photos for you all: The first shows the Red 2004 factory ROUSH - which received 1st Place for 2000 - 2004 Mustangs; Second photo is of my Blackjack as the Show was wrapping up and I had moved it down near to my Red '68 Fastback for a quick escape! ![]() ![]()
