Sema show 2008

Hello Fnsweeters,

Long time since my last post but that doesn't mean I don't come around to check out your awesome rides. Man I miss you guys and my Roush. Good news, I'm looking @ a Boyd/Coddington edition right now. Hopefully it will end up in my garage. I'll keep you guys informed.

This post is to ask who is going to this years Sema show? I've signed up and will be out there Sunday- Thursday or Friday or Saturday or even better all week. I've missed the past two years but not this time. hopefully I'll see you old faces again (No Fish this was not direct) I mean you 2003 Sema attendees and I hope to meet new faces.

I will be there working the show days. Are you accessing the show as well Manny?

It is good they moved it off of Halloween this year. It makes it easier to stay for a few days instead of having to cut the trip short.

This year will be interesting for Ford. The only thing fresh in the market for them is the new Lincoln MKS and the Ford Flex, so there may not be a lot of excitement at the Ford booth. The 2010 Mustang wont be shown until later in the month, unless something changes

I will be there this year again. Most likely flying solo for a good part of it as my GF won't be able to miss much work this time. I could sure use a Show Buddy to BS with.

Just give me a ring when you are coming. The first couple days I will be cramming press conferences and shooting everything. But toward the end of the week I will be free to meander and actualy enjoy the show

Funny thing is I saw your car last time I went to Vegas. I was heading back to the Casino on the 15 north and you were crusing the fast lane. Nice ride! There will be a lot of us out there. We will exchange numbers right before the show and hang out.

Probably not all week. I imagine 2-3 days max, tied to the Roush and Ford press conference schedules, which is usually the first 2-3 days of the event. Byt Friday and Saturday I am usually gone.

Shoe string budget - cant budget hotels for all week We need to get Kev to bring his RV out to Vegas and we can freeload and shack up with him.

There are a lot of room deals going on right now with the slow economy it is having a hige effect on room prices. That being said i am sure they know they can make a buck during the SEMA and APPEX shows.

Come on Fancy pants, we gotta do this show in Nov. If you want we can get a few to split the room cost. You remember when we had 5 people shacked in 1 room. GOOD TIMES!

Getting Kev out there would be like hitting the Mega Millions when it is up to 400000 million. Where is Big Papi now a days? Shay are you going to have a free night so we can all get together for dinner? Where are you staying?

Only problem with that is I have no idea when I'll be working then, and getting time off will be next to impossible.

I booked at the Sratosphere for Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday nights. $83 per night. It is a bit far away from the Convention Center, but the shuttle busses will be OK. I will be driving up early on Monday and heading home on Thursday afternoon.

Cool, I will be staying @ Sams Town with a bunch of fellow mustangers. I've always stayed around Palace Station or the Strat, I'll check the prices right before Sema and see if a room there is affordable. I'm planning on staying the entire week.

Correction my dear friends. I will be staying @ the Emerald suites Cameron (Sunday - Thursday ) I'm not sure if I will be arriving Sunday or Monday. I have been booked @ work on Monday night but if they cancel I will be there Sunday.
