I guess im lucky the event in Tampa is 15 minutes from my house. Im going to take my radiator cover ( carbon fiber) and tool box off the car and just wait in line for him to sign. Last year I waited for 5 hours for him to sign only one place on the car . I just didnt understant why you would sign a box full of nascar stuff but someone who spends 40.000 on a car only gets one sig .

Jack normally signs TWO places on the cars ...at least where I go in Calif. He must have been VERY tired or had a pressing obligation...

Can you imagine signing autographs from 2pm to midnight? I have seen him do it. Also I noticed a brace on his signing arm once & he doesn't move it freely...could be he is in pain a bit?

Nothing sucks more than that moment during an argument when you realize you're wrong.

If the crowds are smaller you may get more then one signing.
But you got to understand everyone who is a fan wants him to sign something.
Be understanding and happy to get a signature.
Jack really is pressed for time do to the racing season.
Off season just as busy with car/truck builds.
I had him sign my car in two places and asked him just to sit for a bit and catch a break.
He smiled and said thankyou but was off running in 2mins.

Not bashin' ya man, but shouldn't we all be grateful that he spends the time with all he is responsible for to make an appearance and sign anything for us? I've seen him walk the cars in the rain for hours after he was supposed to leave to make sure everyones Roush car got a sig. Name one other specialty vehicle manufacturer or car tuner that does that. To be honest, I think Jack would sign anything you wanted, Its usually the guys from the dealership escorting Jack as he signs cars that "hurry up" or limit the process

I met him in Joiliet, IL for the NMRA/NMCA Drag Nationals. His autograph session was only supposed to last 30 minutes, but he was there for much longer. He waited for the line to die down before he quit, but I could tell his crew was a little anxious to get going, trying to hurry him along. He even autographed my car and some items that day. Really nice guy.

Jack got out to the parking lot MUCH later than was planned. They really needed better crowd control inside to prevent that so Jack could have had more time to do what he loves to do....talk to people about their cars.

May try to head over to Indy on the 22nd. I understand this will be the dealers (Skillman) 1st JR appearance and they might appreciate some help with whatever we can assist with.

I will be at Gordie Boucher Ford in Janesville WI. on July 7th. Will be able to have table for FNSweet there. I do look forward to meeting more of the fnsweeters there and hopefully get more people out there to know WE (fnsweet.com) are there for them. Sam I will be sending you PM. Innrkid and Wisc-stage3 hope you can still help out. Hopefully the weather will be better this year. Last year the rain didn't help matters. They did let everyone that had Jack sign their cars pull them inside and a chance to dry them off before Jack signed them. These guys (Gordie Boucher) went the extra step for the people. No I don't work there, some may think I do with the time I do spend there. They're right off I-90/I-39 at Hwy 14 in Janesville. You can't miss them. See you there. mr_skeets

Jack is typically in Reno the second week of September for the National Championship Air Races. I'm going to write a letter and try to get in touch with Team Strega who he's good friends with, to see if he will be there this year. Roush builds and supplies cylinder heads for some of the P-51s. I'll hope to get a signature! I'll let you know what I find out to update the list.

Please note that Jack Roush has rescheduled his appearance at Imperial Ford (Mendon, MA) to Friday, August 7 from 6-8 p.m. This event was previously canceled due to a scheduling conflict.
