Best price I find for ammo is at Walmart. $28.95 for a 100 box of Winchester .40. You have to check often they sell it fast.

    Ammunition - .223/5.56

I've been buying Federal from here. Out of stock now, but they come in pretty regular. Should be 400.00 for 1,000 rounds.

We talking .45 LC or .45 ACP?

This "00 buck" you're talking about. First off, I've never even heard of "Sears" ammo. Secondly, I don't know of any 00 buckshot that is sold in boes of 25. 5 and the 15 rd. bulk packs, sure, but no 25. I'm assuming "Sears" might be Sears Roebuck, which stopped selling guns & ammo some time in the 80's, though I never knew they made their own, if that's what it is. So, it seems like this is some sort of collectible maybe. 15 round bulk boxes of buckshot can be had for like $9-10.

I don't know who the dealer was or where he was from, at the local Gun Show but he had 25-30 50 Rd boxes of 45 LC and a around a 100 -125 50 Rd.boxes full of 54ACP. I don't have a 1911 anymore since I lost both my wrists from my accident. I know 25-30 boxes of 45 LC isn't a bunch of rounds but it's more than Ive seen around here in several years.
The OO Buck was from Sears & Roebuck. I'm like you ;I have never seen a 25 round box of OO buck from Sears. My Mother used to work for sears back in the seventies and I used to buy my Guns & Ammo from them at the time.
The local Sears & Roebuck here used to carry Rifles and Shot Guns and big caliber pistols. Sears carried there own brand of ammo back then in 5,10, and 25 Round boxes!
    I just bought some Multi-Defence 12 Gauge rounds from J & G on the net. I got 20 boxes- 10 Rd box of the Centurion buckshot with the .650 mini-ball with 6 buck shot behind the mini-ball & 20 -10 rd.boxes of Centurion 2" Mini-Buck for my 12 Gauge pump. They still don't have any 7.62 x 39 and 380 ACP nor does cheaper-that-dirt.
The hoard is still going on!!!

You can get .380 at numerous places online for like $165 per 500.... Imagine a fair bit cheaper at Wal-Mart when it's in stock.

You've got to befriend the gentleman working the sporting goods section and get the lowdown on when the shipments are coming in.

Man, ain't that the truth. The guy we have in our Wally world, in Sporting Goods is around 6'-7" tall and weighs around 300 pounds and doesn't say anything but "I'll Look" and
"Nope". He looks more like a bouncer or a "Pro Line Backer or Oklahoma Highway Patrol. We have some big boys policing the roads nowdays. Anyway; my wife and I were looking for some 380 ACP for her Bursa and a couple of hunters were there at the counter wanting him to go look in the back, to look for some shells. . He looked them both straight in the eye and said "Next customer"!!! He looked like he was fixin to rip the" Camo" off both those guys!!!!
