Two Roush Mustangs as Reno Air Races
Considering that there are quite a few P-51 Mustangs racing at the air show, I wasn't completely stunned when I walked into the pits and low-and-behold, there were two Roushs parked there! I took quite a few pics since I have only been within touching distance of three Roush's in my life (haha, poor me). They had a P-51a and a red 427r. Here are the pics. Note the damage to the right rear of the P-51a and the "Rousch" stickers on the windows. Also, for you weird people, I took a pic of the build number of the P-51a for whatever reasons you might want it. They moved the Roushs once but sadly there were no representatives present at any time I was by the cars. I kept an eye out for Jack but I never saw the trademark hat.

Check out the damage!  The 427-R    I wish I were standing next to my two Roushs...  And the idiots who wrote "Rousch" on the sticker in the windows...the name of the car is on the gosh dang window above where you put the sticker...idiots! You can see where they put the sticker - bottom right drivers side of windshield. Bleh.  This is very long over due. My hard drive started failing so I had to throw all the pics on an external drive. I just got the new hard drive installed today. Hope you enjoyed the pics! ~ Pup

Great pics!!!! I wish I could have gone to the RAR this year, but sadly no. Long gone are the days when I flew a P-51D,(never in the races), but I can still hear the Merlin engines in my head. Great pics, fantastic again!!!
As for the "Rousch", wow, bonehead!! I love it when people cant take the time to notice small details like that. Especially if they are representing a dealership lol. Sucks to be whoever muffed up the bumper on that P-51, that just hurts.. Who needs Carfax when you have fnsweet!!

Dang, it even partially crushed the tailpipe, that was some force against the corner of the bumper!
