Silver Lining: Gas Prices Best In Months

All the bad news about the stock market and economy sucks. But every cloud has a silver lining and in this case the price of gas is plummeting as well!

We just hit the magic sub- $3.00 level here on Phoenix this week!

Even diesel is down to about $3.49

Pretty good here in Ontario as well....Last I looked it was 107.2L probably down more today. When I moved here it was .77 and as high as 148.9L but I think it will hit .99 or lower soon...

At the bridge to US its $2.87 gas $3.45 Diesel. Thats the equivalent of .76L and .91L but in canada it is usually .20-.30 cents more...

We're averaging $3.50 here in the Orlando area. A couple of stations have priced gas at $2.88 and darned near started riots. Soon it won't matter what it is selling for to the people that work commission jobs. With no one buying anything right now their income is about 0.

Wednesday night it was on the news:
Springfield Missouri $2.79 for regular
St. Louis is $3.35 for regular

What the ?????
Same state, but here in St. Louis we have the special formulation called the green banana up the rear formula.

Gas prices are dropping that's for sure, but even in the state of Missouri the prices are all over the map, let alone in different states.

$2.40 here in Roseville, Ca. I was watching the new Chris Rock tour and he said something funny about the gas crisis. "I aint no genuis or anything but we invaded Iraq and shouldn't gas prices drop, I mean if I invaded Kentucky Fried Chicken, there will some free fried chicken at my house". "Next time you go and fill up your car, take your d*ck out and start jacking off, why?? because when I paid something that much I am used to c*mming".

$2.89 here today for 89 octane!

I did read yesterday, that OPEC has called a meeting....something about oil prices slipping and them not raking in as many BILLIONS of dollars as a couple of months ago. I'm sure they will decide to cut production, so enjoy the lower prices while you can!

You guys make jealous! $3.53 Chevron reg 87 octane! Just saw a report that the reason the price has not dropped is due to the retailers this time not the oil companies! They were scared to hold up the price from the refinery this time!

Gas here is a 3.19 here now for 87. It's gone down a lot, fast, in the last few days.

$3.40 here in Illinois - burbs of Chicago.

Still no complaints, it's gone down a bit over a dollar now.

I think it's part of OPEC's plan...lower the price and when the U.S. economy hits the bottom (were not there yet) the terrorists will jack it up to the all time high. This will ultimately destroy our way of life.......beat us while were down.

Yeah, it is dropping for sure...by all means, we can't have a complete failing world economy AND have high gas prices right? We're about 30-40 cents more still here...but like Mario said, it's dropped over a buck so I can't complain.
