Smile Pics: Fall Foilage & Engine Bling!

Well it has been awhile and I've been waiting for the leaves to start changing to snap some new pics of my Roush. I took a beautiful drive yesterday up around Estes Park and captured a bit of the scenery. What a perfect way to celebrate flipping over 5k!! Enjoy the pics!

Now for a few other scenic shots, sans Roush:

The original "pony power"

I just loved this shot. Must be those Iowa "genes".

Our local "Fourteener" Longs Peak:

Just a perfect day:

Engine Bling!

Now for the engine bling shots. It is amazingly tough to get good photos of bling! We had a beautiful sunny day yesterday, so I snagged the 10 foot ladder and pulled my Roush out for a photoshoot. Here are the results!!

Front shot:

Side shot, this is the best pic of the Ford Racing valve covers:

Close up of Carmen's beautiful pulleys and alternator cover:

Cool top shot, something a little different!

And of course, the NAME says it all!

And well, here's a bonus pic. I thought this was a nice BUTT SHOT!

Beautiful pics!

May I respectfully suggest removing the "GTS" labels from the grille fog lamp covers though.

Fantastic photos.....as usual!

I also like your buttshot! LOL!

You know that they say, "You can take the girl out of Iowa, but you can't take Iowa out of the girl!" Or something like that!

Our leaves are still pretty much a deep, dark green here....with only a few tinges of color beginning to show up....we should have a late autumn color season, as we have yet to have a killing frost. Which suits me just fine, as I'm think I'm becoming allergic to cold weather and that white stuff that always seems to come along with it!

Thanks guys!! I appreciate the compliments!! It was just so beautiful, hard not to get a great shot, ya know?

As far as the butt shots, glad you enjoyed them! Give me another couple of months in the gym and maybe I'll try a double butt shot!

Not an easy task by any means! One of my good friends tackled Longs Peak this summer with 2 other people and she was the only one that made it to the summit. It's on my list of things to do some year!

Thank you Carmen - I hope you make it out here someday soon - it would be awesome to meet you! I still think you should consider next year's MAA trip!!

Thank you Mike! And...you know - I thought those darn labels were etched on there until I looked closer after you posted this note. Voila, stickers are gone now!

Thank you Edward, coming from you and all your beautiful photos, I take that as a huge compliment! Yes, I do need to drive it more, next year she'll see some serious miles with the MAA trip!

HA HA Dave!! Well, I thought of you and Iowa when I took that pic. Things are just starting to turn down here too. I'd say another week and I might be able to snap a few more shots in the neighborhood or maybe the yard. We'll see how much Mother Nature cooperates. I went a couple weeks ago, intending on getting some pics and got into a rain storm. I was SO MAD after spending 3 day detailing my Roush, you can imagine the shear horror of it all, besides that I had to figure out where the windshield wipers are located! Yesterday's bright sunny day and blues skies were just perfect timing. It is cloudy and about 48 degrees here today - glad I went yesterday!!
