Can you explain the ford plans for me?

Never used one but uncle says I can since he works for ford and has for like a million years. Anyways so there is like A-X-Z right. What is best and can I get some code word (monkey balls) give it to the dealer and all of a sudden my price goes down a couple grand?

I take it A is employee price Z is retired price and X is family and friends. Can you use AXZ plus rebates sales or specials? Oh and can you use plans in both US and Canada?

What exactly does the AXZ give you? Or does it depend on the car itself?

Been "out of the business" for a few years. This was they way it was. A and Z plans have the exact same price. Just a way to split up the active and retired employees. That price was a true "net/net" price (invoice minus holdback and advertising) right off the invoice. The X plan was for Ford suppliers and it was A plan + 4%. Any rebates and incentives apply to any plans. In the past, A/Z plans could be used for fathers, mothers, sons, daughters. Not nieces and nephews. Now days that may have changed.

So a dealer makes no money on a A/Z plan? If I use an X plan they make the 4%?
