    Questions about Selling

I think i might have a buyer for my Roush and have a few questions about the transaction, buyer said they could do a Cashiers Check or do a Bank Wire Transfer, any preference to which one would be safer for me?? buyer said they could meet me at my bank after doing a wire transfer, anything for me to look out for before signing over title, never sold a car(except for cash) and buyer said didnt really feel safe carrying that much cash around and would rather do the Bank Transfer, thanks for the help

Bank wire transfer I always feel is safest,That is what I did when I sold the cobra and got the stage 3. You can always call the bank and see if the money is in the account or not also.

Wire transfer without question, if his bank is in the states, take maybe an Hour. Cke with your bank via Phone to make sure the tranfer has been done.
Than go to the bank and Ck again in person.
Word process a document (make two copys) stating that said car VIN22222222, is sold without warranty and is sold as is, you both sign them.

you need to have a Bill of Sale too. Basically a doc that has the VIN, mileage and agreed price. Simple word document is all you need.

if you want to throw in any side items that are included like extra wheels, car covers etc....you can add those too.

you need a Bill of Sale when you register/apply for new title.

Wire is the best way it is instant and you know the money is there checks can be forged and its best to wait for any check to clear your bank.

the bad thing about wire transfer is you give ALL your bank info to someone you reaaly dont know well.
