    Remember BJ & the Bear?

Went to a local short track today that had a bunch of stuntmen and was themed around tv cars. General Lee, Smokey & the Bandit, the police cars from those shows, Starskey & Hutch, Death Race 200 Mustang, City Cheverolet race car from Days of Thunder, Herbie the Love Bug, A-Team van and several others. Some of the actors from those shows were there. They also had the Movin' On and BJ & the Bear trucks there.

Had a chance to meet Greg Evigan and he's a really cool guy. He didn't have a clue what a Roush Mustang was. He had driven the original KITT Knight Rider (trans am) on the track and my buddies 68 Mustang Sprint so I offered up the keys to the Roush. On the way to the track I gave him an idea what a Roush was. He came off the track very impressed with the power and handling of the Stage 3. Now Greg knows what a ROUSH is.

Photo op with the Greg and the KW.

Coming out of the tunnel on the way to the track.

Coming down pit road. He was already impressed with the power.

He was definately having a blast.

Great photos James. I used to watch that BJ and the Bear show all the time. I would guess you would need a tetanus shot to drive that Death Race car. Thanks for sharing.

    Bad-ass would be an understatement.

the deathrace mustang looks cool. imagine taking that to your local dealer and stating...

"yeah, my cruise control doesn;t work, I think it may be a wiring issue. Can you take a quick peek at it. i think i am still under factory warranty!"
