    The WHO at Superbowl

I have been popping in and out of the game to keep tabs. I knew the WHO was playing for half time. Good to see them indeed.

It does look like Roger Daltrey and Pete Townshend are struggling to sing the high notes these days though. But overall they still have it

I saw them in concert back in 1989 at Oakland Stadium and even then everyone was saying "they are getting old". But who knew over 20 years later they would be still be playing.

I was more disappointed to not see the trademark wind mill and smashed guitar.

IMO- Robert Plant and Jimmy would have been a better choice
I saw Robert live a couple of years ago, now that dude still has his pipes..

Didn't they have a farewell tour like 25 years ago? They should have stayed retired.

Looked cool, sounded bad, although I know a stage thrown up that fast is never good either.

    John Lennon and Elvis.
ROEA Charter membership for sale. Original sale price from 2004 was $250. Due to improvements in the ROEA, they are now bigger and better so I have to adjust for that. You can now purchase mine for $500. I will accept Paypal.

Maybe Walt can recommend some of the older bands for us?

If so that's pretty said, I was busy with 1 eye on the BBQ so I wasn't able to pay complete attention.
FOX missed the perfect opportunity to segway from football season to Nascar, they could've had Kyle B jump on stage and smashed that guitar

    Kinda like Bruce last year.
I kept wanting to breathe for them. They both sounded winded about halfway through.

Next year, I want to see Chuck Berry on stage with his guitar strapped to a walker.

I am all for older music, but every year its like the NFL just trys to book the oldest band still actively playing, its ridiculous.

I can understand musicians passion for their craft and not wanting to give it up, but a lot of these bands had their hayday many years ago......there should be a course for old rock & rollers on how to fade away gracefully and be proud to just reflect on their past success and glory.
