    911 Memorial NYC

    I have been watching the Freedom tower being built from my town. I still miss seeing the twin towers everyday.... I figured it was time to go in and see the memorial. Here are some pictures.

    awesome pictures! thanks for sharing... I would love to visit NYC but would be afraid of getting lost... lol I come from a small town of 1500 and no stop lights.... I guess I could drive Lola since she would know the way lol man I have to get some map updates!!! lol. again nice pictures and great family!!!!

    As a very young kid I remember watching the twin towers being built... I also can't get the memory of seeing them fall out of my head. It took many years until I was use to seeing the skyline every day with out them. I now have a new site to look at everyday.

    Despite the smiles in the pictures ... I am still crying inside....

    It is a Callery pear tree recovered after 9/11.
