What Is The Top Speed
i have been looking for info on the top speed and governor cut off. I cant find it! All I can say is that I was switching from 4th to 5th @ 143mph, before I had to slow down!

got mine up to 147 personally...GPS confirmed...I can do 120 in the 1/4, so that's a new thing, and I'm not sure what the top speed would be, but I bet it would be quicker w/o the wing though

My needle was about the same, 145, 144, 146 or so. But we need to find out that top speed

I've seen over 150 but the speedo stops there. It was a jiggly windy white knuckle thing with the convertible body shell. The speedo I know is inacurate as I have confirmed with GPS before that 75 on the speedo means 73 in reality so go figure

When i bought mine the Roush Rep. told me that they tested a number of 360R's and top speed was 164, havent actually tried it though..........yet

The official tops peed is 168 mph for a 5-speed and a little more on the auto. jim

Thank God he doesnt post much I think the same thing all the time.
He could compress it or stack some of it to the side instead of all the way down like that.

I've had my needle buried before on the way to Mammoth(the longest, straightest road there is) and it was still pulling at @ 5200 rpm. So 160ish is about what I'd guess.

At 150m/h I run out of speedo, but the car is still accelerating and I've gone much faster. The published number is 171m/h. Roushes are not governed, but the Ford system kicks in at red line--
