Roush Fox-Body

Alright,

I know that Roush didn't produce any Roush Mustangs in the 79-93 Fox-Body cars for sale to the public, save for the 5 1979 Pace cars thats was built for the Indy 500 that year, which still were not available to the public. What would they of looked like? What could of been some of the options? This is where you guys come in. I know that there is some very, very knowledgeable people on this site when it comes to the Roush Mustang.

I have a super, super clean 1993 Fox Coupe with an aluminum headed 306, still EFI, and a 5 speed, and has already been converted to 5-lug, that I want to build this car out of. My car is the somewhat rare Reef Blue with an all Black, all manual optioned interior. The only options on my car are cruise control and A/C, thats it. Everything else is a delete or manual version.

So, like I said above, I would like to have some input on what you guys think would look good and maybe look like a factory produced 93 Roush Coupe Mustang. I'm not trying to pass this off as a one of a kind Roush built Mustang or anything like that, I just have a Love for the Roush Mustangs and would like to create something a little different, something that will stand out in the many, many foxes that are around here and something that Roush maybe should of built.

So with the Roush parts that have been available on all the Roushes, what are you guys' opinions. What wheels?, badging?, stripes?, decals?, suspension?, exhaust?, engine mods?, .........etc,.......etc......... to produce a factory looking 93 Roush Mustang???

Thanks for a great site and Roush-on!!!!!!!

Once again Roushinator comes through for us. I really like that car. But I've always been a sucker for that body style.

I checked with Roush last year to see if they had any kind of body parts for the fox body and of course was told they did not. I would love to do something "Roush" with our 85 GT.

That particular body style still makes me weak. I am a huge all-time fan of the notchback coupe.... Still a sexy looking car.

Reef blue is my all time favorite Ford color However my car was a painted shell when I bought it so I just left it (the yellow 88 hatch ^^). I get alot people at the Dream Cruise ask me if it's a real Roush, or hear them tell their friends it's a Roush If you have any questions you can send me a pm.

I looked at making a Roush-like fox out of mine. Figured the 5 lug swap with the Roush PBRs, Roush wheels, suspension, shifter and seats. Then go with a side exit exhaust and the rear bumper cover from ABC Exclusive that has the inset center that resembles the 99-04 rears. The closest thing to the wing was the 93 Cobra vesion (a four post). If one really got carried away, a 4.6L SOHC with a Roush blower would be a sweet addition to a fox body.

If you want to really go over the top, I even looked at cutting the lower secton of the S3 front end and molding into the LX front bumper of the fox. The sketches looked really great when we drew it up to see what it would look like.
