Floor Jacks?

I bought a nice 3 ton craftmans floor jack about 18 months ago... went to use it this past weekend and nothing.... I pump the handle and it doesn't go anywhere. I even tried turning it to both sides and still nothing. Does anyone know a cheap way of fixing this problem? Gaskets? Fluids?

Also - Does anyone recommend another floor jack that is inexpensive and has replacement parts available? Sears wants me to ship this to them... thats BULLSHIT!

I had issues with my 1-yr old craftsman low profile floor jack weeping fluid (but not from the fill screw) and not working correctly. I opened the fill screw in the middle of the cylinder and added Power steering fluid until it was full. It has worked perfectly now for over 8 months and no longer leaks fluid... All I can think is that the PS fluid made the seals properly seal against the cylinder rod, you may want to give that a try-
