Saw Jack Jr. Race at Iowa Speedway

Hey guys,

I was gonna post on Sunday, but I started watching the Olympics after I got back from the race. I took a short drive to watch the Koni Challenge Series race at the Iowa Speedway, after watching the USAC race and the Heartland Concert. It was a pretty sweet event, Roush in conjuntion with Rehagen racing brought 4 Mustang and I believe and there were a couple other Mustangs as well.

Joe Foster in the #55 Hyper Sport Mustang was in the lead for a good portion of the beginning of the race, but the win went to the Porsche 997. Jack Roush Jr. and alternate driver Dean Martin grabbed 8th. It was an amazing experience though.

I think the Mustang Club of Central Iowa (or some club at least showed up) as well as NQS Performance (a Mustang Specialty Performance Garage out of Des Moines) brought some cars. Anyways, just thought I'd share. For those of you the don't know about the Koni Challenge, here's the site...http://www.konichallenge.com It's just a step below the Rolex Series, but I actually prefer watching the Koni Series because the cars are more in line with what is on the road.

Hi Stangman, Guess we missed you at the track Sun. The Mustang Club of Central Iowa was there, we had about 25 Mustangs park out in front of the track. We even got to chat with Jack Jr and S Martin his co driver and half owner. Than they moved all four of their cars outside of the garage and took pictures and took a picture of our club members standing next to their cars. DougD took alot of pic's Sunday, maybe he'll put some of them up here. We had a great time there.
