Two things:

Obviously this is a fake and they are just using the name. This makes me sad.

But the second thing is check out the photo of the zoomed in GT and "Street Boss" emblems. If you are going to take the time to take a photo like that, atleast clean the mud that the tires slung up off the car.

Is it just me or is the Street Boss badge not quite straight on stripe?

Yeah, I don't like it either... seems very wrong to me. This pic is interesting - looks like an actual Roush engine bay plaque?

Maybe they lifted this picture from a different car on their lot??

that is where ROUSH should step in and at least tell dealers to not smear their name over everything.

Good ole' Richmond Ford is at it again. Or should I say, they never stop. It's one of the bad things about this area. You really have to look at a used Roush before you pull the trigger.

Yep it sucks that this is still allowed. I'm not calling the name of the dealer but there is a NC dealer that is an autorized Roush parts dealer only that is installing eibach springs, roush wheels, roush blower and roush body kits and calling them stage 3's. I busted some chops on them when I observed it but they don't seem to care and people are buying these things at the price of Stage 3's...

I'm confused.
According to Roush site, that VIN is red.....
Below are the search results found for the VIN number "194236":

Model Stage Engine ROUSHchargedTM Serial # Color Build Date Build Site VIN # Dealer
Mustang 3P GT 02-0039 Red 4/25/2002 B-50 2F194236 Galpin Ford

Looks white in the picture.
(Galpin Ford is in California....)
Vista Blue doesn't register at all:
Below are the search results found for the VIN number "194226":

Sorry, but no results were found.

Search again (last six of VIN):

Finally a good #!!
Below are the search results found for the VIN number "167143":

Model Stage Engine ROUSHchargedTM Serial # Color Build Date Build Site VIN # Dealer
Mustang SPSTR-3 GT 9 of 100 White 1/31/2008 B50 85167143 Richmond Motor Co. VA

Am I using the search feature wrong?

That's the point this matches the last 6 digits of a Red 2002 Roush sold by a California dealership.

Not a Roush built Mustang that's why it doesn't show up in the data base

I don't have a problem with dealers customizing their cars with Roush parts. The problem I have is the same dealer not being up front with customers that aren't Roush savvy and passing the "customized" car as a "Roush" only to have the customer find out later it is a "knock-off" not a real Roush.

AGREE COMPLETELY!! Think that Jack Roush/Roush Performance should be concern that dealers are passing off their "CUSTOMIZED" car as a true "ROUSH" everywhere. At least RP has Roush INV # search on their website but after you buy it is too late to check then. Note: Get the INV# and get to a computer to check before you buy!!
