Are we entered only in the month we donate ?

Are we in it each month no matter when we donated?

No, once your annual "subscription" starts you are eligible all year long.

Within the calendar year of your "subscription" you are eligible.

After you "subscribe", you will automatically get an email in a year offering you the chance to "renew".

Your generosity is apprecitated. You are always welcome to donate more, but the $10 per user program so far looks like it is going to work very well to cover all of our costs an leave some extra to get us some good monthly drawing stuff thoughout the year.

You can PM me though if you want to know more.

Got off my lazy ass and donated. I wish I can be generous as I feel like I live on this board sometimes, but $10 is all I can afford to spend at the moment.

Hahaha.

Hey Sam. I got the mysterious white envelope in the mail today that felt a bit bulky. I was trying to figure out what I possibly could have purchased on Ebay that is coming from Pheonix, AZ. LOL

Our selection of a winner will begin on Sunday the 30th. We will try to select our monthly winners in a way that is open and out in front. We could draw names from a hat, but that would not be all that transparent would it?

Because our selection schemes could possibly be mathematically loopy on occasion, we will vary the selection scheme each month.

So for April we'll break it down like this:

1st Round:

The first elimination will be based on the 1st place car number of the Aaron's 499 NASCAR Race at Talladega Superspeedway on Sunday the 30th.

An EVEN winning car number will mean we pick from user names starting with a LETTER.

An ODD winning car number will mean we pick from user names starting with a NUMBER

2nd Round:

We pick from the list above described Fn-Site Supporter user names. The first letter of the 2nd Place driver's first name will be matched up with the first letter appearing in the user-name of our remaining contestants from the 1st round elimination.

If there is only one match we have a winner. If there is no match, we will hit the first name on the list above or below with a letter that is closest. If there are more than one match, we will have a third round.

At current, all user-names starting with letters or numbers have letters in them to match up. If for some reason by the time we select names, we have a Fn-Site Supporter with all numerals in their user-name, we'll come up with an alternate 2nd round elimination.

3rd Round (if needed):

The 3rd place car number will be matched to the ages of our remaining Fn-Site Supporters from Round 2. If we have a match, we have a winner. No match, means we hit the closest age.

BONUS PRIZE: If the winning car is a ROUSH team car, an extra BONUS PRIZE will be included for the winner.

But....
First you must find... another shrubbery! Then, when you have found the shrubbery, you must place it here, beside this shrubbery, only slightly higher so you get a two layer effect with a little path running down the middle. ("A path! A path!") Then, you must cut down the mightiest tree in the forrest... with... a herring!

I see you fully understand our process then.

The Aaron's 499 has been postponed due to rain in Talladega. The race has been rescheduled for noon ET on Monday.

We'll have to wait

No numbers that I can list out. The way it will be judged is listed above, based on user names. It is a more transparent way, everyone can verify it. I think

Race Results:

1st place: #48 Jimmie Johnson
2nd place: #20 Tony Stewart
3rd place: #25 Brian Vickers

First Round elimination we only looked at user names starting with a LETTER.

Second Round elimination searched for user names starting with "T", the first letter of the first name of the second place driver.

This left us with two Fn-Site Supporters: "thorx4" and "tmold44"

Third Round elimination matched up the 3rd place car number (25) with the persons age. A match or closest to which wins. Our records show:

tmold44: 35 years and 1 month (03-26-71)
thorx4: 35 years and almost two months. (02-09-71)

So unless all is wrong our WINNER for April 2006 is "tmold44"
