2009 Roush P-51B Will Have New Features

While the car will have the overall same look and feel, Roush will be making some important changes to the 2009 continuation of the P-51 model. Deliveries are expected in November. Dealers are taking orders NOW.

The list of features with notable ones is highlighted below. But mechanically speaking, the secondary sheave FEAD will make a comeback for the P-51B - a welcome piece of information! For those who own a 2001-2004 Roush Stage 3, you know what this is. For those who dont know, it is a secondary accessory drive belt system dedicated to the supercharger. This relieves stress on the crankshaft and other engine accessories. Also, it is a likely cure to the breaking pulley arm issue as well!

Wow, I don't even own a S197 and I'm happy to say that I'm ecstatic they hooked up the FEAD system again for the newer gen!

Its not a "hooked up", more like "opps we messed up on the P51A, lets fix it before there's a recall or more complains, so yes we admit we made a big mistake with the P51A owners".
