~ Re-Finishing "Getting Started"

I am contemplating a total redo of my Wax/Polish on my car. I have used Meguire's 3-step products in the past (currently what is on my car)

I woudl like to transition to the Osesssive detail products. I do plan on purchasing an Orbital Polisher!! My question is this:

What are the minimums that I need to get started?

Wash the car with dawn dishsoap first, that will remove any old wax, than claybar, than proceed

If you are going with the Porter Cable polisher I highly recommend getting one of the package deals that come with the medium and light polishes. With these kits you will get the PC, backing plate, light cutting pad, polishing pad, finishing pad, medium aggressive polish, and a light aggressive polish. The Poorboys/Porter Cable kit is what I recommend for a beginner.

After you use the polishes my Wet Glaze topped with the Wet Wax are a very popular combo right now.

I would also look into getting some of my high quality microfiber towels.

Yeah, what he said! Listen to Justin, he knows what he is doing, and there are more than a few satisfied customers here on the site.....myself included!
I have been using his products since shortly after he became a supporter, and I love the products. They smell great and the results, when used as per his guidance, are top notch!!

Oh yeah, and +100 for using his microfiber cloths, they rule!

Once you get the kit and do what Justin says you will find that it is easy to maintain going forward with just a little work each week.
