First detail pics of the year!

Hey all!

I've been lucky enough to drive my Stang periodically throughout the winter. But, she was getting pretty dirty so I gave her a detail today and thought I'd share the results. I just can't say enough about Justin's wonderful products!

I started out today on a mission to just apply the Obsessive Detail Wheel Seal and they looked so great that I also sprayed the Obsessive Detail Waterless Wash, then used the Fast Shine Quick Detail spray. All in all, I spent about 3 hours to get these amazing results!

Hope you enjoy, I'm especially happy with how the wheels turn out. I've been able to simply wipe off the brake dust with no scrubbing.

Thanks all, I really appreciate the feedback! I've got about 3,500 tender loving miles on her and have only been in the rain ONCE (Vicki's fault!! )

I was noticing there are actually quite a few small pits on the rockers from the sand, etc. At least you have to look REALLY close to see them. It's probably too late to think about the 3M stuff now. I'm starting to just get over it and know that every mark is a memory. Scars are cool!

We'll see how good I do at keeping her so spotless if I take some longer trips this year. I'm not looking forward to running over all that "road kill goo" on I-80 when I come to play with you IOWA guys in July, that's for sure!

Edward: No worries - I do wish it woulda worked out though - that would have been very cool!

Dave: Keep thinking warm thoughts - are you telling me you don't have your baby stored in a heated garage! You can live vicariously through my great Colorado weather, and hopefully it's heading your way!

Wheel wells are still dirty.

Your detail is incomplete.

Amateur. I'd bet your antenna and behind your rearview mirror are dirty too.

DOH! You know Lightning - I did totally forget to do the wheel wells! Good catch - I've been hypnotized by the shiney wheels and reflectiveness that I didn't even notice in the pics. I did, however, do the antenna and behind the rearview mirror.

Oh cool! Glad to help out! You'll love Justin's stuff and it all smells really good too! I went out to oogle at my Stang this morning, and the garage stilll smells kinda fruity - nice to have the bonus "air freshener" quality instead of a chemically smell. Enjoy and definitely post up pics when you get her lookin' spiffy.

...I better go clean my wheel wells....

Kandy...my shop is heated, but the next room over where I keep the vehicles is not. It is well insulated though and only gets down to about 40 degrees on the coldest of days. It has a huge furnace in the room and we use to keep it heated all winter at a minimum of 50 degrees. The problem is, it's a huge area to heat and propane prices the last 3 years have been outta sight! Can't afford to use all that propane, just to keep the cars and trucks warm at night....so they have to suffer down to 40 degrees. I'll get the Mustang over into the nice warm shop one of these days and start shining it up, but for now it just has to sit and shiver a bit. What I was really jealous of, was your dry, ice and snow free driveway.....going to be a few weeks until we see that around here I'm afraid!
