Orbital Polisher Questions-

I have been looking at a Porter Cable polisher, and I have a few questions for the experts-
Is an orbital polisher as good as a high-speed buffer?
Will an orbital burn edges?
Will it help me to remove the fine swirl marks?
Whats the difference between the P-C buffer and one of the those big, inexpensive 9" polishers?

I have one of those cheap, big ones, and doesn't do crap.

The Porter Cable is so popular because you can be a beginner and get excellent results without having to worry about burning your paint. A high speed circular polisher will correct swirls and scratches a lot faster than a Porter Cable, but the PC is so much safer.

Yes you can remove fine swirl marks all the way up to heavier ones. Sometimes it takes multiple passes on one section.

The PC is completely different than the buffers you can get over the counter. Those buffers are really just good for applying wax, they don't have the power to do any paint correction.

You can take your paint to a whole new level with the PC.

Hope this helps, let me know if you have anymore questions. Thanks!

Justin

I totally agree with Justin. The products he sells are the best and everyone on this site will tell you he has good stuff.I got my kit from him long ago and will never switch to anything else.
Ikandy(member here) was turn on to his stuff and she will tell you you cant go wrong with it.
Try it and if your not happy, I but you could sell everything you buy from him slightly less of course. So you wouldn't be out to much but I bet you wont sell any of it though. It's well worth the price if not more.
