I would claybar and use some kind of polish on the paint to properly prep the surface, this way you will get the best possible results.

It is really important to properly prep your paint so you can get the best possible finish. The first thing I would do is claybar the whole car. I carry an 8 oz. poly elastic claybar that is twice the size of most competitors, you can also get it with a quick detailer included as your clay lube.

The next thing you want to do is polish the car to bring out more shine and reflection,correct swirls and scratches, and to prep the paint for your wax. My Light Polish works excellent by hand.

Then you can add the Wet Glaze to add a lot of wetness and depth to the paint. This isn't something that you need to have, but you will notice a pretty big difference after it is applied.

Lastly, top with your Wet Obsession!
