Thumbs up Metal RX

Just wanted to post up a pic or two on the Metal Rx stuff I got from Justin.

This stuff is awesome! I could not believe how well it cleaned my filthy ass wheels! It cleaned them so well I could actually see the imperfections in the wheels.

Before:

And after:

Haven't put the wheel seal on yet. I will do that tomorrow. I went and bought the smaller powerball from Mothers and used it in the cordless drill and wow!!!

Thanks Justin!!!

I'm glad you liked the Rx. It is a sweet polish. Nice job and great pics!

Right now I'm having it reformulated to cut through oxidized metal even better. It is going to be the same thickness but it is going to have more cleaners. I'm also going with a new bottle with custom graphics since I have a few stores carrying it on their shelves now!!!

Whats the best way to clean the powerball with all the black stuff all over it after I am done.

Or should I just toss it?

You can wash it by hand with some Dawn, that works really well.

I do a lot of diamond plate polishing and the ball gets pretty bad, the Dawn will clean it right up. If that doesn't work I use an all purpose cleaner.

The before and after pics look great!! Metal RX is an awesome product!

Thanks for the tip on cleaning the powerball. I did ours the other night and it cleans up just like new!

DRoush, the powerball is made by Mother's and is sold pretty much everywhere. It's made of a sponge-like material, comes in 2 sizes and attaches to a power drill. It's great for polishing wheels. The small one is like $20.

D: I have one too, it looks like this:

I bought it thinking it would make cleaning the front wheels with the big brakes easier. I've shaved it down to fit a bit better but still not the ideal solution. I still end up using a toothbrush under a microfiber rag most of the time. I haven't found anything that works perfectly to get back in there.

Hope that helps,
Kandy
