Brand New Paint Job?

Just had the car repainted 5 days ago or so. Been raining a little bit so its dirty Amazing though, the first 2 days the car sat in rain and I came out after work and it was practically spotless. Heres some pics after a good rain:

Also, what to use on the plastic cover by the windshield wipers? Could use some touching up. And lots of grime and skin cells on the steering wheels and ebrake handle. Any touch chemical or does it involve endless scrubbing?

The car looks great!

For the plastic piece below the windshield......I would just clean in with normal soap and water and then apply a dressing to bring the black back. My Silk Shine dressing works great for that. I like to use Optimum Opti Seal on all of the paint and plastic pieces, it will keep them looking good, if they aren't taken care of, they will dry out and look terrible.

For the interior pieces I always use an all purpose cleaner diluted about 10:1 and agitate lightly with a brush. This will get them looking like new again. My OD All Purpose cleaner works great, I go through gallons of it about every week. You can also use it on your engine, fenderwells, tires, carpet, etc.. It has a low ph so it is a lot safer than most APC's.

It is usually recommended that you wait 90 days before adding any kind of protection. I would check with the place that painted it just to make sure.

Saw an ad on TV for a local shop and they were advertsising dirt cheap paint jobs. Went down and checked out a few of the cars they had done, 1 was a Mustang, and the painter was a huge Mustang fan. After looking over a few of the cars and checking out the bay it looked like it would be a quality job. Gotta love South Tucson when it comes to labor rates. So much cheaper that any Maaco or other shop. Maaco wanted $1200 to redo the top half of my car. They did the whole car for even less than that
