Wet Obsession vs. Cement!

Recently there was a little construction going on at my office. A new restarant was going in and they had to do some cement work outside. We made sure we parked way away from any work going on... or so we thought. After the cement driver dumped his load he felt the need to hose off the chute and as you can see he got wet cement all over the fender and hood of my Son's 07 GT! We did not find out until we went to go to lunch and by then it was completely dry. I thought my son was gonna cry... or kill someone. I called the cement contractor and they basically told me to go to hell!

While I really wanted to go find this guys office and kick his ass I knew we had to get to work on this as soon as possible because cement has a way of eating into things like paint so we took the car to my house and broke out the hose and tools from Obsessive detail. Once we CAREFULLY got the cement off there were a few light scratches that came right out with a little work (about and hour) from the porter cable and Optimum polish. Then another couple of coats of Wet Obsession and the car looked good as new.

I wanted to send a great big thank you out to Justin at obsessive detail. I know that without the base of polish and Wet Obsession Wax we had on the car there would have been alot more damage. I know alot of people including me keep saying that this stuff is the best we have ever used but I have now, once and for all, proved it to myself. I will never use any other product as long as I can get this stuff from Justin... Thanks Justin!

A couple more pics.

We were so happy that we were able to get the car looking good that we forgot to take pictures when we were one. So I had to have him go outside to take a pic once he got home. It looks kind of strange because the corrigated steel parking cover reflecting off the hood because of the Wet Obsession... Thanks again Justin!

Looks good glad ya got it off, I would print out some pics , along with a bill for around 150.00 and send it registered to the company. they have insurance that , if not them then the property owner were the work was being done.

If for nothing else to make them take some responsibility

I like that idea, also call the company and tell them if they don't take care of the bill you'll talk to some of your relatives who work for the DOT. They don't want to get audited by the DOT............

I usually like to push things to the limit and my wife knows me soooo well. She said that if I handle things in my usual subtle way that one day a truck will show up at my office and fill in my 07 vert with cement!

Since everything ended so well I may just let this one go even though it goes against everything I believe in.
