I like the Optimum No Rinse but I'm finding it doesn't get all the water spots. What to use next?

Are you getting waterspots before the paint is dryed or are you talking about waterspots that is already on the car?

I just noticed that, it is a pretty cool forum. Pretty slow right now, but it is starting to get more members.

I would just use a light abrassive polish to remove the waterspots. Since you have darker colored paint, it is a lot easier to get waterspots.

hey justin, i bought a kit from you a while back for my stang, i was thinking of buying your new wax because it looks sweet. I still have the ssr1 and gaze and i have 1/10th a bottle left of sealant. I haven't applied these to my car in a while and would like a more brilliant shine and your new wax looks like a good start. Do i need more sealant? will the one i have work fine or should i buy one that works with that wax? Second if you can provide me details on how to apply it all again I would be so great full.

Hey!

The steps for the whole process would be the polish, glaze, sealant, and then wax.

The Wet Obsession is just an awesome looking wax, I think you will be more than happy with it.

You don't have to put on a sealant, it will give you more durability though. I have my OD Hyper Shine Sealant and Optimum Opti Seal Sealant. My Hyper Shine is like the sealant you already have, it just cures a lot quicker. The Opti Seal is a pretty new product, it comes with 2 applicators and you spray it on the applicator and walk away. Opti Seal just dissappears and you don't have to buff off, it can be used on glass, paint, exterior plastics, and wheels. The durability is great too. This sealant is also different than most sealants, you can actually put this on before or after a wax and it will still cure fine.

Let me know if this helps you out, if not let me know if you have any other questions.

In my situation on my silver car, would you recommend the Opti-Seal or the
Obsessive Detail Hyper Shine Sealant? To me, it sounds like the obsessive detail hyper would do me just fine because 10 mins to cure is much better than before. I just want the best shine and was wondering which sealent can produce that. Also, im not sure how you do the discounts anymore, but i read on a previous post that you just tell us to say fnsweet in the comments and you refund 10% is this correct? I figure i better stock up on some things so ill be buying a few things here very soon.

Also that metal rx, would you recommend that over something else (you sell) for the roush rims?

I think the Hyper Shine will be fine for your color, it will also save you quite a bit of money.

To get the 10% member discount you just put "Fnsweet" in the comment box at checkout on my website. Now the discount doesn't apply to items that are already on sale and Porter Cable polishers.

Ok cool, What about the metal rx for the roush rims? I forgot to ask, do you carry anything to shine and clean vinyl?

Metal Rx works awesome on Roush rims. I also highly recommend using the Wheel Seal, it cleans, shines, and protects, brake dust will come off with ease. Both the Metal Rx and the Wheel Seal are very popular among the members here.

For vinyl I carry my Silk Shine Dressing and Optimum Leather Protectant. The title of the Leather Protectant is kinda misleading (used to be called Protectant Plus) the LP can be used on vinyl, plastics, and leather. I sell a ton of these two products too, you can't go wrong with either one.

So i should purchase the Wheel Seal over the metal tx? or both? how do would you apply them both if you think both is better?

Some people like to get both. The Metal Rx works better on wheels that are oxidized and really need a cleaning, it does leave a layer of protection behind, but the Wheel Seal has a lot more durability. The Wheel Seal works better on wheels that need light cleaning, it does give an awesome look.

I like to apply them with a foam applicator, you don't have to use as much product using foam. If you are wanting a little bit of cut, use a terry applicator. For wheels that are in really bad shape I like to use my DuraBall with a drill, saves your hands and arms from falling off!
