    Tie Down Straps for Trailering

For those of you trailering your cars to track events, etc., what lb rating are you using? I'm finding a lot of 2K ratcheting type, which I presume will work? Cars weighs 3680. Found some 2K ones at Wally Mart made by Reese.

10,000 lb rating for a couple of reasons. As the straps age, I expect their rating to decrease. If one strap comes loose, they other should be capable of holding the car. If I slam on the brakes, my 3000lb car is going to more like 6000lb.

I use 4 -5000lb straps and cross them. That way the car can not move on the trailer.
