big problem with roush 3 piece

hey guys i have a big problem with the roush 3 piece intake i just finished putting it on what a pain and now the car sputters and boggs when you get on the gas and when you rev it out and shift and jump back on the gas its back fires and feels like it shuts off for a second and it is slow i mean real slow can anybody give me some advice or no what it could be cuz it is just not right and i am not happy with this intake right now i think it sucks but looks sweet well any help would be great thanx guys

Double and triple check all your vaccum lines.

If you haven't gotten a chip yet, you'll want to do that.

i do have a chip already the car is starting to run alittle better but it still back firing out of the intake 1 other question does anybody know where or how the tps sensor plugs up to the stock wiring harness my 2 plugs are different i went to the ford dealer and they dont have anything that plugs to the tps sensor on the throttle body any help with that would be great

i more thing when i get on the gas i am blowing my dip stick out i no that its is crankcase pressure my pcv vavle is good we checked it and when i rev out like second or third it blows out white smoke only in the high rpms and i do have all of my vac lines plugged up but we dont no if they are all going 2 the right place but if anyone has a vac diagram on that manifold or knows where they go so i can check them again would be great just let me know please

rousch 3 piece

I also have a 3 piece on a 331 stroker in a 68 mustang. Runs great, different opinions on dyno power. Getting 330 rwhp and 337 torq at 5200 rpm. Stock A9L EEC-IV Computer,38psi fuel pressure and 14% timing. Some say should be more and others say great. Are your valve covers vented? Had to vent mine out the rear of each one to atmosphere. Also had to lower the covers 3/8" to clear the intake.

What size injectors are you using?

hey john what do u mean u had 2 have your vavle covers vented and my stock vavle covers fit under it but u have 2 change the right side with 1 that u dont add the oil threw
