roush 5.0l plenum intake
was sup fellow roush members,im new to this,glad to be in here.Ok,first i have a 94 mustang gt vert,im planning to put trickflow trackheat heads with 1.7 stud mount rockers,x-cam with roller lifters,trickflow pushrods,arp bolts ect,and a rare roush intake.I found the intake in ebay,and bought it asap(which i know is rare,only a 100 were made to the public) reason im stating this post,the clearance with rockers and the intake doesnt clear?what do i need to do, i have everything already to set up,but this problem was encounterd before i broke in the motor. i went to oddball turbo and performance(houston,tx),to make me 2 custom spacers,but they charge me 500 bucks
 ,i think thats kindof steep,but if its a must, ill have to go for it,thanks alot

First off, and X cam and 1.7 are going to be really really high on the lift figs. You may want to run 1.6 ratios. You may want to look at T&D or Jesel for shaft mount rockers, that may help you situation. I don't think Jesel makes them for TW heads, but TD might. You may also want to look at custom sheet metal valve covers. They could make them tall enough to clear the rockers but short enough to clear the intake. (Maybe.) They could possibly design them to have the height where it is needed instead of an even symetrical cover. IF all else fails, find a different set of heads.
