Roush Cougar.......clone
Well mine is a clone but i have the full body kit and spoiler installed. I have the version 1 wheels, but not installed. i am planning on trying to get them powdercoated but not sure on it. Its in the body shop right now getting repainted while i am deployed.
the car is a 2000 cougar V6 mtx. it dosen't have the stock motor installed anymore. i installed a 3L in it. i am a member over on NECO well here are some pictures..... what she used to look like  after i installed the kit         as you can see i am picture junkie.....what can i say

thanks for the kind words. yes she does when i get to drive her. 06-07 i was in korea and now i am in iraq....so if i remember she does...lol i got in a wreck before i came over here so she is in the shop getting a rear qtr installed, new fenders , door and a fresh new paint. I do love the fact jack roush took the time and tuned our car.

warning large pictures here is the brochure for the roush coug. maybe a mod might want to add it to a sticky for this section.
Front Cover  Left Inset  Right Inset  Rear Cover  The option was only for the 1999 and 2000 I currently have the full body kit, and sway bar. I didn't use the Roush springs I decided on coilovers. I am still locating the pedals or a kit that is close to it. I do want to find a shifter knob to screw onto my B&M short shifter. I wish I was single like Gary and be able to purchase the turbo kit and be able to embarace some of the knuckleheads at the local track...

Welcome! I love unique cars with class - biggest reason I am into the Roush. My Cougar is a different era ('67), but love seeing your pics.

i am a mustang lover , i have a early 65 but its an original 6 cyl 200. i would love to do a v8 swap but its pricey to do the swap

Joe, I like your sense of style!
FYI, your pic above shows Version 2 wheels. The brochure shows what the Version 1 wheels look like. If you decide you want a "true" clone, I can get you look-alike pedals and Roush Cougar exhaust tips.

curious
can u give us some RWHP and TQ numbers.... and maybe some 1/4 mile times. as well as mods? Sweeet car BTW!, im a big big cougar fan, so much potential, to bad ford never did more with the idea.
