No cost, my front left strust end link snapped right at the weld. They replaced my struts front and back, plus my left front rim under warranty.

According to what Roush told me bad welds are the problem.
The scary thing is if the welds do fail the strut can take out your front tire.
So anyone involved in the re-call, please get it done ASAP.

This sounds like it does not include struts done by roush in Michigan. Am I reading this right or do I need to get this taken care of?

well you could call Roush give them your vin # and they will be able to tell
you which items need to be replaced via recall/warranty....

Joe Thompson helped me cool down (as smoke came from my ears) because
FNSWEET was more up to date than the dealers. After re verifing my info he said a letter would be in the mail and dealer(s) would be contacted and both were done...

BTW be sure to verify your struts upon order there is a difference
with stage 3 struts and non stage 3 struts
to compensate for the extra "weight"............

Yep, the dealer replaced my st 3 struts with with blue st 2 struts the first time around.
Went to pic it up, said those are the wrong struts, had to do it again.

So would this be on all 2007 Stage 3s? I'm just wondering why I haven't got a recall in the mail.

Most likly because 07s are not affected, I do believe.
call Roush, is a serious potentially deadly problem.

What is the best number to get Roush at? I've only talked to them by email before.

It only affected 05 and 06 Roush suspensions. I lucked out with mine, I put the supercharger on before the change and my dealer put red ones on by accident, so now they're right

They replaced mine and I have an 07. Had to have the sway bar tightened soon after they replaced the struts.

@ Pastor J you could call them (Roush)directly or have the service manager
@ the dealer call to verify with your vin # if your suspension was equipped
with the "recalled" components.....

@ RangersFan... you should of played lottery, powerball, bet it all on "Red"
lucky you bro.....

I had mine replaced last month. I told the dealer to install my new ROUSH Extreme springs while they had the struts off!

Only cost me $180, but that was to install the rear Springs. Rear shocks were not covered in the recall so I had to pay to have the rear springs put on.

Okay, I'm confused. Are the '07s affected or not? I've heard nothing of a recall for my BlackJack.
