Love my Roush But a little Peeved with The Company

Went to a little get together show last night, and had to listen to this girl talk about her Roush. Her parents owned a nice looking stage 1 vert, but see if you can see what's wrong with hers. It makes me mad that I paid money to get mine, but yet Roush continues to make emblems and badges available to just anyone. Maybe I'm making a bigger deal out of this than I should, but there is no way some person should sit there and make it like their car is the real deal when it's not and Roush just makes it that much easier to do.
See if you can find what's wrong in these pics:

1000 made, my butt. I have never seen one besides this car. I hit all the show for S. Fla. and this is the first time I've seen one. The Heat additions were sold through Wayne Akers Ford, but there is no Roush sticker on the door jamb, so I doubt it's real besides a dealer add on.

Shay: I just got confirmation from RP that indeed they did build the "Heat" edition cars for Ford with selected Roush items as part of a Dealer Region promotion. The cars are as our new member described. While Roush indeed built the cars, they were not advertised by Roush as an official package because they were a contract build for Ford.

We learn something new every day.
Just so we are clear.... I am not a fan of the car at all... but we have already chased this guy away.... which I not real fond of.

Why? It was pure BS. The car might be a c ontract build, which I doubt, but for a "limited" run of 1000, it's the first one I've seen in S. Florida, and I know people at the dealership where they bought the car, and they say it was just a Heat edition when they bought it.

My local dealer has one that looks real close to the "Heat" but it's called a "FASTBACK". It's white with black side stripes below the windows.

The supermaket by me carries that, and I use it all the time! Unfortunately it keeps trying to put it's name on my rice, my soda, and half my snack drawer!

I'm pretty sure that most, if not all, the profits from Shelby's food items go to his Carroll Shelby Children's Foundation charity....which helps young kids with failing hearts....so I don't mind seeing a whole bunch of different Shelby items at the grocery store.

Roush does a lot of contract build projects that don't carry their name. These are special editions at the behest of Ford or local dealer groups for promotions. They do this for Mustang, Fusion, F-150 and cars from other automakers as well.

In the case of the car pictured above, the dealer or the owner embelished the car a little bit with Roush emblems and graphics - that did not come from Roush that way.

Kelly Ford here in Melbourne, FL currently has 9 HEAT's getting a suntan on the lot. They have sold more then they currently have on the lot since their introduction. I believe a 1000 is possible.

Total B.S, is a need to separate true Roush cars from the riff raff to protect our so called investments
I have a dream: that one day this nation will Rise up and live the true meaning of ROUSH.
I have a dream, that one day, all roush owners will be a true brotherhood.
i have a dream that my children can someday buy an actual Roush car (the real deal)

I have a dream that one day, in our local, what with road conditions, traffic and increased LEOs.
I can get mine into 5th gear
