Suspension question

My rear suspension (or something, i'm not a mechanic) makes a tick or clicking sound at low speeds. Normally notice it when pulling in the garage or going over speed bumps. What makes that sound?

Maybe it's a bomb.

Seriously though, is it when you are turning also? Is it maybe coming from the front strut area?

It sounds like the rear suspension. I notice it when I back into my garage and go over the "lip" (creek or click sound). I also here it when I get in the car. (180lbs) I don’t hear any noises at high speed or when I turn. I have never had a car with racing suspension before this one. Thought maybe it was normal. Judging by the response my post got, I think I stand alone.

Check the exhaust clamps. There have been post like this and someone found that a clamp was loose/broken/missing. Just a thought, trying help.

Check to see if anything is loose. It might just be your suspension bushings (factory and/or Roush). That is sort of a pet peeve of mine that the Mustang creaks whenever the suspension flexed going in and out of a driveway (or similar). Nothing wrong, just don't expect that from a modern day car of this cost... If it is creaking bushings, you might try some silicone lubricant spray on the bushing joints...

I'm familiar with the suspension noise. Most all 2005+ Mustangs make that noise. I've also sworn the noise was in the rear, but there is a new TSB from Ford that offers different front strut mounts. I'm told the noise is gone. Funny how noises in a car can travel. Check with your local Dealer.

have your rear sway bar Re-torqued....
also there is a plastic bearing/shim for your front struts
can cause "noises" when wearing out
