Car in shop for 16 days now

Lets start with why they still have the car and end with what has been done. After 5000 miles the front tires were showing more wear on the inside. They were rotated by ford. After 5000 more miles the inside of the left front was cupped and the right was wearing bald. Ford said the front end was out of line. They charged me 150 to re align balance and rotate tires. 5000 more miles now the tires are completely bald on inside with the left still cupped. This time ford said it was because I rotated them every 5000 miles instead of 3000 miles. I rotated them again and so on. Now I have four tires that look new on the outside but are bald on the inside. It takes two hands to hold the wheel and if you let go you never know which direction you will be going. Anyways today I was told it looks like I ran with too much air pressure and they stated Roush cars were a sensitive set up. O ya it was once mentioned it was because of the brand of tire. (Coopers) As of right now imwaiting on them to look at the front end but they are telling me the tires wont be covered.
16 days ago I dropped the car off to get some warranty work done I have been trying to get done foe a year now. It was supposedly all approved by Roush now.
Wing was out of align due to nuts backing off.
Driver side and passenger seat would come unclipped when you sat in the seat.
Driver seat was warn on the lumbar after 5000 miles. Negotiated it to be fixed at time of purchase.
You could see foam sticking out of the rear seat at all times.
Hood scoop would raise off the hood further and further the faster you drove.
Rear wheels were peeling so bad I finally lost my weights. So they needed to be replaced.
Clear film on stripes came off and stripes discolored.
Roush on the windshield was coming off.
Broken fog light bracket.
Car would fall on its face whan you accelerated through a corner and ran like crap.

Things that got fixed

Wheels were replaced.
Rear seats were fixed but they missed the fronts as of right now.
They told me it was running lean so they replaced the fuel pump??
Roush on windshield was replaced.
Fog light bracket fixed.
Wing and hood scoop fixed.
They sent it out o have the stipes replaced. The body shop couldnt get them off so they sent it somewhere else. (Still pissed that everyone got to drive my car without my permission.)
Stripes finally got replaced.

Just needed to vent.
What would you do in this situation and how would you feel?

first off, which roush do you have? year and stage? second its good news that they have started to fix the list of issues, but the only thing you can do is stay on them and be persistent. make sure you have documentation of the issues etc.

did you buy the car used? for the lean issue i'd hit up a dyno and see what happens. as far as the alignment, i'd get a new set of tires, set it to roush alignment specs and see what happens.

it is frustrating, i know.

Its a 2006 Roushcharged stage 2. It had 5000 miles on it when I bought it from the dealer. My main concern is shelling out money for tires. Does anyone else have problems with their front tires cupping and wearing bald on the inside. Is this a normal amount of time for my car to be in the shop for this kind of work. They said Roush doesnt pay for rentals so its been up to me to provide transportation.

Got you beat here,

Mine sat for 33 days for them to figure out 2 wires we crossed in the cluster harness.

My original set of tires did the same thing. That's what happens when you lower a car and give it no way to adjust the alignment back to proper specs.

I don't understand why you had to pay for the alignment? I have had Ford vehicles aligned under warranty with no problems.... I'd look for an alternate service provider.

I had to pay for the alignment on my car too (although I took my car a 1/2 mile down the road to an actual tire shop). The alignment isn't covered under certain circumstances

The last new vehicle I bought (2006) The Ford dealer noticed inside tire wear and suggested they realign under warranty. Told me all you have to say is it wanders all over the road. They then check the alignment. Like I said, if your dealer won't do it for you they don't want your business that bad and I would look elsewhere.

They can check it, that doesn't mean they will align it.

If they have it set up on the rack and it is off why wouldn't they correct it? They don't get paid warranty rates for doing nothing.

I got my car back today but Im not naming any names as of now. The person I got all the excuses from no longer works there and recently I have been working with the service manager. So far hes fixed everythig I have mentioned except the front end and tires. They put it on the rack and said the camber/caster is off but there is no more room for adjustment. They called Roush and talked to their engineers about it. They got a e-mail back saying Roush would let us know what they were going to do on Wednesday.
My only other concern is the fact that they replaced the fuel pump and now my car seems to be slower. It used to rev up high as soon as you starated it and it doesnt do that anymore. Also when I would pull into my garage and kill my car I could here the supercharger winding down. Now I cant hear anything. I took it out on trhe highway and 80 miles an hour I punched it and it took 3 sec to gain 10 miles per hour. It just feelsd doggy. Do you have to reprogram the pcm when you change the pump because if so they did it at trhe dealership instead of sending it back to Roush.

I now this maybe a little late but as far as the alignment, I also had the same problem, ford replaced both tires all sevice was done by them every 3000 at 12000 they told me the tire could not be rotated. This seams to be a mustang problem not a roush my son 07 GT did the same and my daughter 06 SCS V6. (P.S. time to get mad, talk to your sells man.) Good luck
