Question Second Engine Light in a Month

Well about this time last month my engine light popped on during highway driving. Took it in and got the fuel pump TSB done. I have to say there seemed to be more power made afterwards. I imagine it should be that way. Well two days ago the enigine light pops on again after starting up cold (or as cold as can be in florida this time of year). Car seemes to have lost that extra power feeling and seems to be sluggish from stops up to about 3k (even with the A/C off). I have not pulled any codes and it will go to the shop in the morning. I will report the findings. However, I would like to know if any others had a similar issue after the fuel pump replacement.

I had a code with my coupe a couple times. It was showing up as a coil pack issue but turned out to be something in the Roush tune. Did the pulley upgrade and after the re-tune no more codes.

I had the fuel pump TSB on the vert completed about 8 months ago. Haven't had any problems with codes.

Talking And the Winner Is

Well I was told it was a slow vapor leak code. That the gas cap was loose. Funny thing is - that was the first thing I checked when the light came on. Now what I was told is that once a slow vapor leak code is thrown it will not reset itself but that if a fast vapor leak code is thrown you can drive around 8 miles in normal conditions below 50 MPH and the code will reset. Sounds weird but whatever. The Tech did tell me that to confirm no other problems he would need to test for the vapor leak from a cold start. So he silicone'd the retaining ring on the gas cap in case it was binding the gas cap and vibrating loose. No lights today so maybe that was the problem. We'll see.
